Ever since Superband started I thought it was just another boring competition. That's until I watched Qinobe! (I know they're out already, but I really hope they get in through the revival!) These videos changed my mind about Superband:

They never fail to surprise! ;) I think they're the best band there, and Juz B too. Pity both of them are out already.

I got back Chem section C which really pulled me down. Disappointed in my Chem, got a D (1 mark to C!), but still I could've done much much better. But now's not the time to dwell on results, but to start studying. But I just don't have the mood to start. Tonight's Argentina vs Germany! Rah. I'll find a way.

Anyway, I've been YouTubing again. But these Japanese prank videos are too damn hilarious! Watch and I bet you'll laugh your toes off.

And this is how Japanese people wake each other up:

These guys are hilariousss

English lessons...

Whoa, just back from marathon rehearsal. Its so cool that my secondary school's having their 90th anniversary and they are holding a 90-hour singing marathon at Millenia Walk. Its already started today! And I think we're going to be in the Guiness book of records. :) So, we're going to sing the past 6 years' GB theme songs, which only lasts around 10 minutes, LOL. Hope everything goes well on Sunday!

And I'm excited for Germany vs Argentina tomorrow. RAH. I want Argentina to win, but I have a feeling Germany will. So tomorrow's going to be exciting. Anyway Brazil vs Ghana match was pretty intense although it was 3-0 in the end. Ghana played a great game. :) Nelson Dida's THE MAN! He's an amazing goalkeeper. Woot! Conceded so many of Ghana's goals. And his hair is cute too! Heh. As well as Kaka! :D I can't believe I'm going to be obsesed with the world cup soon.

Common tests are finally over, and now we're getting back results. Rah, I can't believe I got such an easy Bio MCQ wrong, but oh well the other sections are much, much worse. Got back Chem MCQ and section B, though it was fine (at least I passed), but I know I could've done much better. Section C's sure to pull me down though. Rah, I still can't believe I studied Mass Spec, Atomic structure and all the year 1 topics to find that only organic to Group II is required. ARGH! And I even missed GP and Maths CTs because of a damn fever, so I have to work doubly hard. Prelims in 2 months time, I gotto buck up! I don't want to regret after the Alevels. I want to be pleased and satisfied with whatever results I've got, knowing I've done my very best. :) So, Hot Chicks and s06 and whoever's taking the A's this year, we must JIAYOU alright! Don't regret in the end. :)

I'm missing Khao Lak again. :( It all seemed like a dream, and I've just woken up from it. Studies, books, college.. is that all to life? Oh well, in Singapore it does seem like it.

Holidays have come and gone. Did some of the most ridiculous things: Playing eagle and chicks and trying to pop the poppers (I don't know what its called) simultaneously in ECP at night; stayed up until 4+ am for 3 consecutive nights trying to study and practising the organ like mad; surviving all the Hard Gay videos on Youtube without puking and actually loving him in the end; sleeping on hard tables and listening to people screaming Ahoy! and playing daidee in the middle of the night inTPJC; spent 5 days in a foreign country without my parents and going crazy over the Thai and Burmese kids there; took crazy photos in the Thai hotel (Vera y'know what, lol, send me the pics yeh!)..

Yes, its one heck of a holiday; but I'm lovin' it! And it's too short, far too short.

Ok, last paper tomorrow! Persevere.

Wth, I don't know what I'm feeling now. One moment I hate you, the other...

All it took was a smile.

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. I actually studied all the Chemistry Year1 topics to Group II when only organic to Group II is required! RAAAHHH, someone please kill me. But anyway the Chemistry CT is already over, urgh, and I can't concentrate on Bio at all. Its such a dead memorizing subject it keeps putting me to sleep, gosh, I don't even know why I took it in the first place. Yes, its interesting at times, but memorizing and memorizing all those complicated names is killing me. Its worse than Chem, mannn. Hokay, back to the nervous systemm. -.-

I really, really hope I've proved you wrong.

:) I love swimming sessions with my mom. Simply talking and laughing over stuff; I cherish our mother-daughter bonding times. Heh. And I'm starting to like Nelly Furtado's new songs.

You wanna spread your wings but you're not sure
Don't wanna leave your comfort just wanna find a cure
We're afraid of who we see in the mirror
We wanna let go but it feels too pure
Who wants to be alone in this world
You look around and all you see is hurt
But the light it always finds us
If it moved with a little trust

Nelly Furtado - Afraid

I'm still feeling a little sore from yesterday. :'( But I'm going to do well just for you to see. I must do well.

All it took was a smile.

Although your birthday is already over.. it's 1.30am now.. and I just washed up, heh. But I still want to say HAPPY 18TH LYDIA! x) Hope you enjoyed our little celebration today. :) Its amazing how the lightning kept flashing, but it didn't rain at all! Thank God for the great weather. :) Anyway, thanks for all the wonderful memories we had together; the drill competitions and taking the pri5 girls.. and getting Gold! The studying and shopping sessions.. just all the fun and crapping while hanging out.. Love you girl! :D Love the beanies too; You, Wendy, Jess, Eliz, Weilin.. we rock! Thank God for friends like you guys even though we don't hang out as much as before. But just like you said, we can't do without each other. And Jess suggested an outing like this once in 1 or 2 months; hope we can make that come true!

I've never felt so helpless in a subject before. Its so demoralizing when I took so freaking long to do one question. :'( I just want to do well..

My heart is breaking into a million pieces; but what can I do?

This is what happens when I tried to study chemistry at 2am.

It becomes a camwhoring session instead. Man, I should have some control over myself. How many more days to Chem and Bio CT? Including today would be 4 days. Yikes. And I seriously have no idea what I've studied. I haven't started Biology, and it's going to kill all my brain cells studying it. Ok, I shall stop procrastinating on the stupid boring computer (not!) and get on with those wonderfully interesting Chemistry and Biology notes.

I love Teddy Geiger. I bet anyone who hears his songs will just fall in love with his voice, and not to mention he's cute too! Visit his site to listen; it's worth the click. :)

Did anyone try too hard
Well I guess I did
I guess I did alright
She'll break my heart
Cause ever since the minute I saw your face
Well I knew I wanted to be in that place next to you, yeah
To be the one that's in your arms
And I'll try to get by

Teddy Geiger - Try Too Hard

I just can't start mugging. Tried, but kept falling asleep! Was sneezing badly the whole day today, and had a fever again. I keep having fevers recently, especially whenever I stay home and there are tests coming up. :( It's such a horrible feeling. But nvm, there's Teddy Geiger's music to cheer myself up. ;D I'm putting his music on loooop.

Anyway everyone should watch Hard Gay. How can you not love him after watching? He's hilarious! Too bad there are only around 15 videos. Just can't get enough of him. Hooooooo! Say say say! lol.

Sawadee ka! Sabaidee mai?

I MISS THAILAND ALR. :'( Although of course I have been missing my bed, my TV, my computer... But it's been an amazing and meaningful experience. I miss the kids so, so much. They are super adorable and cute! It's so heartwarming when they come up to hug you or hold your hand and kiss you on the cheek, or write 'I Love You' notes to you. RAH. The kids are just so lovely. :D It was so much fun piggybacking them and playing and singing with the kids. Seeing the smiles on their faces was good enough.

However when we went to visit the tsunami sites and the morgue where they stored all the yet to be identified dead bodies in refrigerated containers, it just felt so sad. That after so many years there are still so many bodies yet to be properly buried and identified by their relatives. Imagine the emotional pain the relatives have to go through.

We also did communal work like painting boats, varnishing chairs for the kids and did fishing traps.. It felt good doing something constructive for once. :P Got to know the interactors much better too... thank God for Vera my bus seat, eating, walking partner. :) And Samantha our dear room-mate lol. We also drank, played cards late into the night, had a night walk through the ghost town, chilled at the cafe near our hotel while watching soccer.. It was an interesting experience. And the beaches in Thailand are amazing. The sand is so soft, the sky seems joined with the never-ending Indian ocean, and the view of the clouds is fantastic.

Rah, words cannot describe this enough. Will upload pictures soon. But I'm so freaking tired now 'cause I've just came back from the airport. And Vera, please take care of yourself and get well soooooon! :) Really thank God for providing for us throughout the whole trip and that we're all home safe and sound!

It's back to reality again. :( CTs!!!! Urgh.

EDIT: ok, photos are up on my friendster account! :)

Shooting LTC was really eventful and fun! Got to know the shooting people so much better, esp. the J1s, and even some J2s. Although the games were quite messy, we still had loads of fun, with lots of sadism though. This camp was plain crazy. Couldn't sleep at all at night. Were making too much noise playing card games like bluff, and funny hand games. Ahoy! Ahoy! Ahoy! throughout the night. It was insane. Jun Ming and Tuck Min even stayed over in the girls' bunk although it wasn't allowed. -.- They are really good at entertaining themselves though. Heh. This camp had alot of ups and downs; but overall, it's been great! x) It was nice staying over in the school, and lying down on the grandstand at night staring at the stars and moon; and simply talking the night through.

Exco interview was really interesting. Can't wait to pass down my duties man. =x Soon, all shooting will be over. Gosh. Honestly, I don't know what to feel. Anyway the new shooting tee rocks. Black and gold. I just love these colours. And now, my back is aching badly from attempting to sleep on tables. And my ankle's slightly sprained from games the first day. Rah.

And Singaporeans sure know how to vote for their idol. Rahimah and Jasmine are really good singers. So glad they got in to final 12! Especially Rahimah. She just has this uniqueness about her that's really cool. I love her hair!

Alright, now to prepare for Thailand OCIP trip. :D Flying off Sunday. Ah, I'm just so shagged.

I don't know if I'm being emo or what, but for SYTYCD tonight, Blake and Ashle's smooth waltz made me tear. Ah, it was just so moving. I absolutely love the music they danced to. Its such a pity that Blake got out. :( He's an amazing dancer! Here's a tribute to him: His solo.

Nick and Melody's disco routine blew me away too. Both their performances were great, great, great! :D

And Mom's away till Thurs for her KL trip. And man, I miss her loads already. Rah.

What's taking you so long? =/

You are so beautiful to me
You are so beautiful to me
Can't you see
You're everything that I'd hoped for
You're everything I need
You are so beautiful to me

A long, long week ahead. Shooting training tomorrow; and games preparations for shooting camp Wednesday to Friday, and flying off to Thailand for OCIP on Sunday. Pretty excited. :) But I'm afraid I will not have time to study for Chem and Bio. And yet I'm sill procrastinating. Urgh. Have to go down to update my passport photo. I'm just so, so lazy. Heh.

I want to shop.
